Official Statement by HOM’s Leadership

HOM wishes to address a recent incident in which the company was required to withdraw several letters of hiring intent that had been extended in connection with a major project. We recognize that this development has understandably caused concern among candidates, partners, and our team members.
First and foremost, we extend our deepest apologies to the people who were invited to join HOM. We recognize, and are moved by, the personal and professional impact on candidates who made career decisions based on our communication.
On the morning of Monday, September 22, 2025, we discovered that contracts and commitments associated with this project had been misrepresented by a senior business representative of HOM. In the 48 hours since, our teams initiated multiple investigations to get to the depths of this matter, following which we took several critical actions, implemented immediate safeguards and will be rolling out additional measures. The extent of the impact weighs heavily upon us, and we are not taking lightly the tangible and intangible impact it has on various people involved. As a small organization, we had gone beyond our reach, invested a lot of time, effort, and money, and were fully prepared and excited to welcome the new batch.
Although we are committed to being transparent about the corrective steps underway, certain personnel and investigative details cannot be disclosed publicly at this time. We are, however, actively pursuing appropriate remedies and will take all necessary actions to safeguard our people, our partners, and our reputation.
We deeply regret this unforeseen situation and reaffirm our commitment to making amends for those affected, while working to rebuild trust with all stakeholders. We remain grateful to the candidates who considered HOM as the next step in their careers, and we appreciate their patience and understanding as we navigate this process.
